Capt. Stan's favorite thing to do is wade for trophy trout, but fishing from a comfortable 2006 24 ft. Bay Scout equipped with head (for the ladies) is another option if you do not care to wade. "This is my favorite area of the Texas Gulf Coast to fish. There are miles and miles of open bay and shorelines as well as some very productive reefs." If you are looking for a trophy trout to hang on the wall, East Matagorda Bay offers up some world class speckled trout action. If you like catching reds, Matagorda is a great place to catch a world class redfish.

Drift the Reefs

Drift the reefs for speckled trout and redfish in comfort on a 24' Bay Scout with a little shade for those hot summer months.

RATES:

Half day (4 hours) for 1-3 people $350
Full day (8 hours) for 1-3 people $450
*If you desire to wade fish, a fourth person can be added for $50 more.

Rods, reels, wading belts and stringers are provided on request. (Please let us know ahead of time if gear and tackle needs to be provided)
Artificial Lures are provided.
Live Bait costs extra.
We will be glad to help with any lodging needs.
$150 deposit is required on all trips.
